The Gippsland Lakes is a beautiful part of Victoria where an extensive lake system is inland from the extraordinary 90 mile beach. The TRC team recently spent a few days in the region scoping out itineraries for the new Gippsland Lakes Aquatic Trail Feasibility study and business case. The experience is likely to combine a mix of walking, riding and paddling with cultural experiences in partnership with the Gunai Kurnai people on their country.
It is anticipated that the Gippsland Lakes Aquatic Trail will be attractive to independent outdoor active visitors as well as those that may prefer a guided and supported experience.
