The project will review visitor trends and existing tourism product, suggest and assess potential new product, and work with Bunaba to prepare a plan for future tourism opportunities, including business cases for the strongest initiatives. As part of the consultation on the project Janet and Chris travelled with Bunuba Traditional Owners to neighbouring Gooniyandi country to tour the Mimbi Caves and the new facilities for the Camping with Custodians program. These facilities were developed as an outcome of a previous TRC project and were a great illustration of what might be possible for the Bunuba people.
