TRC consultants Emma Knezevic and Penny McLennan are enjoying some work in their own backyards developing the Destination Management Plan for Destination Southern NSW. Emma and Penny, with Shane O’Leary from the Destination Network, undertook consultation in Yass, Goulburn and Narooma last week to seek input on the plan from stakeholders. This round of consultation will be completed with a session in Cooma for Snowy Monaro next Friday. The outcomes of the consultation will be used to inform the plan, which will outline a strategic approach to growing the visitor economy and identify the priority projects that will make a difference to tourism in the region.
