TRC undertook a thorough evaluation and assessment of all tourism product and experience offers to understand how they perform in comparison with offerings in other territories, states & destinations. The assessment determined what needed to be done to encourage and accommodate future tourism and visitor growth. The project involved extensive consultation and detailed analysis of the region’s existing products and performance. This allowed us to identified gaps for tourism products in the foreseeable future. The report will be used to inform VisitCanberra’s business planning, investment programs, and marketing and partnership activities with the aim of achieving the goal of growing overnight visitor expenditure in the ACT to $2.5 billion by 2020.
